Dear HBO,
You do this to me every. single. time. You get me all sucked in to your crazy good shows, and then...season finale that knocked my socks off. That would be okay if I didn't have to wait until SUMMER 2009 before you aired a new episode. What the hell?!
Why are you torturing me? All I ever wanted to do is find out the deal with Sookie and Tara and WTF happened to Lafayette?! And you're going to make me wait SIX whole months. Now that's just cruel and unusual punishment from somebody who should be grateful I didn't come down there and firebomb your offices after you took Carnivale off the air. (I mean...really. It was only a 3-season show. WHY would you show the biggest cliffhanger EVER and then not return to clean it up? JERKS)
So now I guess I'll be tracking down the books (did you know it's a book series?) to kill time until next season starts. In which case, please don't stray too far from what happens in the books, because I'll be watching and picking it apart and wondering why THAT didn't happen on the show like it did the book and.....

On second thought...Doesn't the new season of Big Love start soon? Maybe I'll start watching that instead

I HATE when that happens to shows.
I am seriously starting to think a show should just run new episodes all year...constantly.
You hear me, AMC? I want Mad Men YEAR ROUND!
Grr I hate when they do that!!!!
Speaking from experience though...I suggest you don't read the books if you've been following the TV series.(or you can but you might have a surprise)
I got extremely disappointed when doing the same for DEXTER. To realize that the books are NOTHING like the TV series really sucked...
I don't have HBO. but thank goodness for Netflix! :)
I LOVE the series Six Feet Under and about cried (okay I did) when it ended for good. Alan Ball did a great job with that, and I am really diggin his TruBlood too.
Yes yes, Big Love will be soon! Don't worry!
I loved the concept of carnivale...they could of done so many cool things with it. But there were too many unanswered questions and then it got pulled:(
I was really upset that they killed Amy off last week, but Lafeyette! Crap! I really liked him!!!!
Must be why I don't watch TV :-)
I haven't seen the show b/c I don't have HBO, but I love the series. I actually just finished reading her latest book last weekend. I want to watch TB when it comes out on DVD.
Gah, I hate it when they do that too. All my favorite shows are coming back in January after something like a 7 month break :P I almost don't even care about them anymore after so long!
I love True Blood and no one I know watches Big Love like I do. :}
Now if you tell me that you watch and adore Sons of Anarchy I will have no choice but to declare us bloggy bffs.
~Your letter is "N" - let me know when you post~
YES! Another TrueBlood fan. I love anything vampires. It's a sick love affair, but I can't help it. I'm on the 4th book already. Great series. Definitely read it. HBO pisses me off. And Showtime.
